Misrata Free Zone (MFZ) reported yesterday that it had signed an MoU with Italy’s Eli-Fly Helicopter Services company, represented by its General Manager, Francesco Comensoli.

The MoU aims to implement a joint infrastructure investment project necessary to provide helicopter services through the MFZ port, and to equip facilities dedicated to training and development services in this field. This includes establishing a local training centre in the fields of leadership and air navigation in accordance with European Union (EASA) standards.

After the signing of the MoU, the investment site of Eli-Fly – MFZ branch was inaugurated.

It will be recalled, and as reported by Libya Herald at the time, Eli-Fly had initially signed its agreement to establish its presence in the MFZ back in April this year.
