Speaking at the launch event of the Sewage Treatment Plant and Water Discharge Line projects in Tripoli last Wednesday (12February), Tripoli based Libyan prime minister, Abdel Hamid Aldabaiba, said 43 projects will be launched this February.
These will include 17 health projects, including a specialist centre to be operated by a team of Spanish specialists.
The first of these projects, he said, will be the opening of the newly refurbished Martyrs Square and the National Museum development project.
The announcement of these projects comes as part of the 14th anniversary celebrations of the 17 February 2011 Revolution.
The projects will be spread across 28 cities and, besides health, will include projects in the infrastructure, youth, and education.
Aldabaiba also assured that Tripoli International Airport will be opened in 2025 and so will several phases of the Tripoli Third Ring Road.
He said building the state and achieving development is the way to honour the sacrifices of the Libyans.
