Preliminary operation work of Benghazi Iron and Steel Assembly and Smelting Plant launched

Emaar Libya Holding Company announced last Thursday (12 December) that it has commenced the preliminary operation work of its Benghazi Iron and Steel Assembly and Smelting Plant.

The announcement came following a visit to the plant by Abdul Hamid Mousa Awad, Chairman of Emaar Libya Holding Company, accompanied by the Chairman of Emaar Libya Mining Company and Chairman of Al-Shoumoukh National Company.

The Holding Company said the plant launch is part of the new challenge and success to contribute to the train of reconstruction and development through the industry and mining sector. This is to provide local products of international quality and in accordance with international standards, to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and quality‎, and to participate in development and reconstruction projects.
