Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Aldabaiba received last Wednesday (24 June) the Chairman of the Information and International Cooperation Committee of the Russian Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations and Chairman of the Russian-Libyan Business Council, Ara A Abramyan, in the presence of the Libyan Ambassador to Russia, Mohammed Al-Maghrawi, the official in charge of the Russian file at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Russian Ambassador to Libya.
The meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation between Libya and Russia in various areas of mutual interest, with a focus on supporting economic and investment partnerships and developing coordination mechanisms between the public and private sectors in both countries.
The meeting also discussed several files related to bilateral cooperation and explored new avenues for coordination to expand areas of cooperation, exchange expertise, and strengthen common interests between the two sides.
Russian delegation visits Misrata Free Zone to explore investment and production potential
The Russian Embassy in Tripoli announced last Tuesday (23 June) the Russian delegation, headed by A. A. Abramyan, paid an official visit to the Misrata Free Zone to explore its investment and production potential.
It reported that the two sides discussed prospects for establishing partnerships and implementing joint projects, as well as strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Russian-Libyan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation.
