The Department of Support and Development of Medical Services (DSDMS), a department under the direct supervision of the Tripoli government Cabinet, announced last Tuesday (11 June) that its medical team began to perform neurological operations within the main operations department in Tripoli University Hospital (TUH) in cooperation with the TUH’s medical staff.
These operations come as part of the plan of the Tripoli Libyan government’s project to localise treatment within Libya rather than abroad.
