A delegation from Libya’s Ministry of Local Government, represented by several employees from the Urban Planning Department and some other departments and the Geographic Information Systems Department at the Municipality of Tripoli, participated in the 3rd INDIGO Festival for Comprehensive Digital Governance in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The event was held in Tunis from 3 to 5 October, organized and supported by the Germany’s GIZ.

The festival addressed three main topics to ensure the development of comprehensive digital governance in the Middle East and North Africa region. The first was the topic of trust in digital governance, the second was trends in digital solutions and thirdly, the transformation of digital governance.

According to its organizers, the festival aims to create an environment in which new ideas flourish, challenges are transformed into opportunities, and cooperation paves the way toward progress.
