Speaking exclusively to Libya Herald, Mohamed Al-Belaili, Director of the Media Office at the Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC), said Libya seeks to increase its exports to Turkey and raise the level of trade exchange between the two countries.

Al-Belaili was commenting to Libya Herald on Libya’s participation in the ‘‘F Istanbul’’ expo from 12 to 14 July. F Istanbul describes itself as the most comprehensive food & beverage products, processing and packaging technology exhibition in Turkey.

Al-Blaili pointed out that the LEPC sought to identify the difficulties and obstacles facing Libyan companies and business owners in shipping, transporting and exporting Libyan food products and others to foreign markets, as well as to Turkey.

F Istanbul boasts the participation of more than 500 companies specialized in food and packaging industries from 25 countries, including Libya, Egypt, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, India, China, America, Italy, Ukraine, Germany, Ecuador and Kazakhstan.

The Libyan delegation to F Istanbul is headed by the LEPC head, Mohamed Al-Deeb, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Chambers of Commerce, Misrata Free Zone, and several specialized companies in the field of food, and Libyan business leaders.
