The European Union Border Assistance Mission in Libya (EUBAM) reported yesterday that it had hosted the Libyan Ministry of Interior’s Department for Combating Financial Crime for a meeting which focused on improving investigation techniques related to money-laundering and the financing of terrorism.
The importance of information exchange and data protection was also discussed, it added.
