Tunis, 26 June 2017:

The Libyan National Army (LNA) has released few details of the discussions today between armed forces commander-in-chief Khalifa Hafter and UAE deputy chief of staff Major General Eisa Saif Al-Mazrouei.

The two men and their staffs met at Hafter’s Rajma headquarters in Benghazi.  The LNA said merely that their meeting came within “the framework of brotherhood and cooperation between Libya and UAE at all levels .”

Last month Egypt’s chief of staff Lieutenant-General Mahmoud Hijazi also visited Hafter at his HQ.
