Intensive fighting has been reported to have broken out between the pro GNC-Libya Dawn ‘’Sunrise’’ . . .[restrict](Shurooq) forces and IS forces either side of the city of Sirte on Saturday. The Sunrise forces are reported to be the Misratan-based 166 brigade.
The fighting has been reported in both the Daheera area west of Sirte and the Harawa area about 65 km east of Sirte.
There have been reports of deaths and injuries, with LANA’s Sirte correspondent reporting two deaths and two injuries arriving at Sirte’s Ibin Sina hospital.
The fighting comes further to reports of further fighting between the two forces in the Noflia area about 100 km east of Sirte [/restrict]
