Tripoli, 11 July 2013:
A leading revolutionary fighter turned army commander this evening escaped assassination when his vehicle was . . .[restrict]fired on from another, as he left a Tripoli supply base.
Said Amer Guji, a mobile force commander attached to the Army chief of Staff, was leaving the depot at Bawabat Aljibs when armed men in another car came alongside and began firing. Guji returned fire and the attackers made off, but not before injuring him in the head and hands. He was treated at a hospital in Mitiga.
During the liberation, Guji was a prominent revolutionary leader fighting with the Jadu brigade. [/restrict]
