Tripoli, 6 May 2103:
Reports that four key ministers in the government have resigned have been denied.
The Derna-based news agency . . .[restrict]Irassa announced this evening that the Prime Minister had confirmed to a source that four ministers had resigned. It later named them as Interior Minister Ashour Shuwail, Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdulaziz, Economy Minister Mustafa Abofunas and Justice Minister Salah Marghani.
“I’m still in office,” Marghani told the Libya Herald. “I’ve not resigned.”
“It’s not true” said the Foreign Ministry spokesman, Badraddin Qaluishi.
These are not the first rumours of ministerial resignations. A week ago, the Prime Minister had to deny another report that Ashour Shuwail had resigned, this time over the French embassy bombing.
