On Friday, the Misrata radio station “The Voice of the City” was formally launched with a celebration in the . . .[restrict]city. The station has been running trial broadcasts for the past two months. It broadcasts a variety of different shows covering religious, cultural, political and social issues and events.
A number of local dignitaries spoke at the launch, congratulating the station. Among them were the local council councillor with responsibility for the media Ibrahim Saffarr. [/restrict]
