Residents of Gharian sent on Saturday morning a relief convoy to Misrata for shipment to Syrian refugees in camps . . .[restrict]in Turkey. The convoy consists of ten trucks of medicines and food as well as nappies and baby milk.
Contributions have come from the local council, a number of civil society organisations, the water and sanitation company, the public services company and Gharian and Nalut hospital as well as members of the local public.
The legal adviser to the Syrian coordinating team in Libya expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude for the Libyan people’s support during the uprising in Syria. The Syrian people, he said, were going through too much suffering and were in urgent need of such help. [/restrict]
