Libya’s state Telecom Holding Company (LPTIC) announced yesterday the launch of a national project to measure the spread of information technology in partnership with the Communications and Informatics Regulatory Authority (CITRA) and the Statistics and Census Authority.
The project aims to collect accurate data on the use of information technology by households and individuals, which will contribute to evaluating performance and setting benchmark indicators to assess the development of the ICT sector in Libya.
