German Libyan Business Forum 2024 brings 20 German companies to Tripoli

The 3rd German Libyan Economic (now Business) Forum opened for two days in Tripoli today.

The event is co-organised by the General Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce, the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ghorfa) and the German Embassy in Tripoli.

Twenty German companies with a larger number of Libyan companies participated in the two-day event.

After the welcome and official addresses by the Acting Libyan Foreign Minister Baour, German MP, former Minister and Ghorfa president, Peter Ramsaur, and the respective country ambassadors, the first day went into four sector sessions.

These were on: 1-Doing Business in Libya; 2-Infrastructure and Transport Projects; 3-Energy and 4-Health and Technical Education.

Day 2: B2B meetings
The second day is reserved for B2B meetings with the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Ministry of Health, Renewable Energy Authority of Libya (REAoL), Ministry of Industry and Minerals and the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL).
