The Libyan Business Council (LBC) has launched its digital business platform ‘‘Almenasa’’.

The LBC reported that the project was established through a grant provided by USAID as part of the Public Fund Management Programme, which is managed by USAID inside Libya, and aims to improve the business environment in Libya.

The LBC said Almenasa is one of the tools through which it seeks to digitize services provided to its members, to improve the work environment, provide an attractive environment for business, support the private sector, and enhance partnership between it and the public sector.

it said that the platform aims to provide distinguished services to the business sector in Libya and to those interested in investments and partnerships, and networking them with public sector institutions to make this platform one of the pillars of cooperation between the two parties.

Bilingual platform

The platform will be launched in both Arabic and English and will contain, in one place, all legislation, decisions and reports related to economic activities of all kinds. It will display tenders, bids, commercial offers and projects available for investment.

The platform will display events and exhibitions inside and outside Libya, with the possibility of participating in them from the platform by subscribing to the LBC’s membership package.

It will display training courses related to the business sector and project management.

Three annual subscription packages

The platform offers three annual subscription packages. The LBC says by subscribing to the platform, assistance in solving the obstacles facing business activities, through direct communication with the relevant institutions, can be obtained.

The platform will also provide support to the entrepreneurial sector registered within business incubators inside Libya, by marketing their projects among affiliated members or financing institutions that may be interested in supporting these projects

Through membership in one of the platform’s packages, the LBC says businesses can run smoothly, as it is possible, according to the subscribed package, to post job offers, careers, tenders, and bids communicate with partner organizations on the platform, register in the platform’s companies directory, marketing activities, participation in exhibitions and conferences supported by the LBC inside and outside Libya, get legal help and obtaining assistance in establishing or registering companies.
