LBC signs cooperation agreement with General Authority for Exhibitions – Egyptian Industries Exhibition to be held at Tripoli International Fairgrounds

‎The Libyan Businessmen Council (LBC) signed of a cooperation agreement with the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences last Wednesday (25 February), within the framework of strengthening partnership between the public and private sectors and supporting economic and investment mobility in Libya.‎

‎The agreement aims to jointly organize and hold exhibitions, conferences and economic forums, and support the participation of Libyan companies in local and international events, in addition to exchanging experiences and information in a way that contributes to developing the business environment, encouraging investment, and opening new horizons of cooperation between businessmen and national institutions.‎

‎Egyptian Industries Exhibition to be held at Tripoli International Fairgrounds
The signing ceremony also witnessed the conclusion of another agreement between the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences and the Libyan-Egyptian Business Council – one of the entities of the Libyan Businessmen’s Council – on the organisation of the Egyptian Industries Exhibition on the grounds of the Tripoli International Fair. The step aims to enhance trade and industrial cooperation between Libya and Egypt and expand the areas of economic partnership between the two countries.‎ No date for the event was announced.

‎The signatories stressed the importance of these steps in stimulating the economic movement, enhancing the role of exhibitions and conferences as effective platforms for communication and building strategic partnerships, in order to serve the goals of sustainable development and support the country’s directions towards diversifying the economy and empowering the private sector.‎
