Libya Food expo opens with nearly 100 international companies from 14 different countries – led by Turkey, Egypt and Tunisia

‎The activities of the seventh edition of the Libya International Food Fair opened yesterday with 98 international companies from 14 countries, led by Turkey, Egypt and Tunisia. There were also more than 100 Libyan companies participating in the exhibition and its workshop activities which will run until 1 April.‎

The importance seen in the exhibition was reflected in the fact that it was opened by the Ministers of Industry and Minerals, Economy and Trade and Tourism and Handicrafts.

The President of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, the President of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, and several diplomats accredited to Libya were also present at yesterday’s official opening.‎

‎Momentum reflects investors’ confidence in the stability of the Libyan market
The ministers toured the exhibition, listening to explanations from representatives of companies on the latest innovations and industrial solutions, stressing that this great momentum reflects investors’ confidence in the stability of the Libyan market and its ability to attract major industrial enterprises.‎

The 7th Libya International Food Exhibition will take place at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds from 29 March to 1 April

‎The (newly appointed) Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohamed Abdel Gader, explained that the aim of holding the exhibition is not limited to displaying products, but extends to building real partnerships that contribute to the localization of modern technology and raise the efficiency of the local product in accordance with international standards.

He praised the volume of participation and the distinguished organization of the exhibition, pointing to the importance of supporting national industries and enhancing their competitiveness.‎
