NOC Chairman gives green light to start installation of giant compressors in Bahr al-Salam field ‎

Mellitah Oil & Gas looking to charter three helos

‎Mellitah Oil and Gas announced today that the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) has given the green light to start the installation of giant compressors in the Bahr Al-Salam offshore field ‎.

Mellitah Oil and Gas further reported that, today, a delegation led by its Chairman, Bashir Mohamed, visited the Sabratha Platform to review the latest equipment for the installation of giant compressors. Additionally, the delegation sought to ensure the readiness of all technical teams to implement this project with the highest degree of efficiency and occupational safety.‎

‎The Mellitah Chairman praised the role of the sovereign bodies for their effective cooperation in facilitating all the works. He conveyed the thanks and gratitude of the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation to all those on the Sabratha platform, including employees and representatives of the sovereign agencies and the security agencies.

He hoped that all parties succeed in completing this work in the required form and the time specified, as, he added, it is of strategic importance to increase the production of gas, which reaches 100 million cubic feet of crude gas per day.‎
