The Attorney General’s Office reported yesterday the Tripoli Criminal Court sentenced a drug smuggler to life imprisonment.
He was imprisoned for deliberately importing cannabis seeds using customs documents that contained false statements.
The court also fined him 40,000 Libyan dinars and permanently deprived him of his civil rights.
