The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) announced today that it has granted 71 new foreign exchange (FX) bureaux licenses for companies and exchange offices, bringing the total number of licenses approved to 135 companies and exchange offices.
The CBL also announced the opening of new applications for obtaining the initial approval for the establishment of FX bureaux, starting from 1 March until 30 June 2025.
