Misrata Airport flights up 30 percent, passengers up 3 percent for 2023-2024

Italian Civil Aviation audit team visits Misrata airport to assess possiblity of resmption of flights

Misrata Airport reported yesterday that flights were up 30 percent from 325 to 421, and passenger numbers were up 3 percent from 22,812 to 23,463 for the period November 2023 to December 2024.

‎Commenting on the figures, it said ‘‘We continue our constant efforts to increase the operational efficiency of the airport and achieve the highest growth rates’’.‎

It will be recalled that in May 2024 Misrata Airport had revealed that flights increased by 66 percent from 248 to 412 between April 2023 and April 2024.

Meanwhile passengers increased by 89 percent from 11,935 to 22,554 in the same period.
