The Libyan Air Ambulance announced yesterday, from the headquarters of the American helicopter manufacturing company Bell (Bell Textron Inc, Fort Worth, Texas), that it had received its two Bell 429 helicopters.
The Air Ambulance said this represent a qualitative addition to the fleet of the Air Ambulance service. The aircraft, it added, is designed with the latest technology and equipped with intensive care equipment for one bed – while another bed can be increased as needed.
The Air Ambulance said it represents a symbol of its commitment to providing the highest levels of emergency health care, and quick access to those in need in the most difficult and remote conditions. These aircraft, it continued, are not just a means of transportation, they are a new lifeline that enhances its ability to save lives and achieve a faster response to emergencies.
