The Chairman of the Libya Africa Investment Portfolio (LAIP), Mustafa Abu Funas, conducted a working visit to the YILDIRIM Group of Companies at the group’s headquarters in the Turkish city of Istanbul last Monday.

Abu Funas met with Robert Yuksel YILDIRIM, President & CEO of the Group, in the presence of Emin Çakmak, President of the Union of Turkish Investors in Africa.

Investing in Mellitah Port project
During the meeting, joint cooperation between LAIP and Yildirim Group were discussed, as the group’s president expressed his interest in participating in the investment projects that LAIP plans to carry out, and he expressed a special interest in participating in the Mellitah Port project for oil services, given that the group has extensive experience in building and managing ports in many countries around the world.
