The Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO) reported today that it had exported more than 27,000 tons from its port yesterday of hot briquetted iron (HBI) on board the ship S.Nibton headed for Germany.

The company also reported that today, the ship Immensity docked at its port to ship more than 10,000 tons of HBI to Italy.

LISCO attributes these exports to its efficiency and the quality of its HBI product which, it says, has made it the focus of attention of several major companies in the world.
