The Governor of the Tripoli-based Central Bank of Libya, Saddek Omar El-Kaber, received last Sunday the results of the work of the team assigned to coordinate with international banks, after the team finished its meetings with other banks, the CBL reports.
The CBL named these banks as JP Morgan, Citi Bank, Bank of New York, Clear Stream, and Euroclear bank.
The CBL said the work of the team comes within the framework of cooperation in various investment fields between the CBL and international banks. It says the team was briefed on developments in international financial markets and frameworks for cooperation and coordination in the field of compliance, combating money laundering and combating terrorist financing.
