Last Tuesday Libya’s Ministry of Health launched its Health Vision for 2023 plan, under the title “Five years, a vision for a healthy future”.
Libya’s Tripoli-based Prime Minister, Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, accompanied by several heads of departments in the ministry, along with the head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak and Minister of Transportation, Mohamed Al-Shahubi, took part in the launch event.
The Health Ministry reported that its vision is focused through its plan for the next 5 years on improving the quality of health services, focusing on care in several aspects, including:
- Launching the National Initial Healthcare Strategy.
- Paying attention to the human component and launching a project to prepare change leaders in the health sector by empowering youth.
- Attention to national programmes, and the launch of the digital transformation project to ensure the smooth flow of work within the sector.
