Transport Minister Shahubi opens backup Air Navigation Centre and Air Control Tower at Mitiga airport

Transport Ministry meets Japanese company North Star interested in investing in Libya

The Tripoli based Transport Minister, Mohamed Al-Shahubi, accompanied by the Head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Mohamed Shalibak, opened on Wednesday, 24 January, the backup Air Navigation Centre and the Air Control Tower at Mitiga Airport.

The new additions were implemented by Italy’s Techno Sky.

The Civil Aviation Authority said the new additions will contribute to raising the level of air navigation services in Libyan airspace and air traffic at Mitiga airport.
