During his visit to Russia, Tripoli based Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah signed a cooperation agreement between the Libyan Ministry of Health and the Russian Ministry of Health in the fields of development, training and exchange of experiences.
The Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Health reported that the agreement provides for cooperation in the field of organisation and management of health care systems, short-term vocational training, health protection of mother and child, as well as the implementation of digital technologies for the health system and participation in medical scientific research.
The agreement also includes joint activities, including the exchange of organisational, statistical and analytical experiences and information in the field of health care, the organisation of medical scientific conferences and the establishment of direct contacts between Libyan and Russian scientific, educational and medical organisations.
