Mitiga airport’s Office of Information and Relations reported Thursday that development at the airport has reached a completion rate of 85 percent.
Work of implementing the expansion and modification of the passenger arrival hall and luggage sorting, contracted by the Airports Authority to be implemented by the International Creativity Company, continues.
The project aims to increase the area of the arrival hall for international flights, the arrival hall for domestic flights, as well as the departure hall for domestic flights. The area that has been added is estimated at 2,000 square meters. There will also be improvement to the external facade of the hall in the airside area.
