London, 13 August 2021:

The Benghazi Chamber of Commerce organized a working visit for the Italian Consul in Benghazi to several businesses in the city yesterday.

The tour included the Jawda/Superior Quality Group for Food Industries, Wehda Bank (the Benghazi Business Branch), and the Benghazi Cement Factory, as well as the Golden Palm Tourist Resort.

The Chamber reported that the Italian Consul was briefed on the level of economic, industrial, banking and tourism progress in the city.

According to the Chamber, Batori expressed his satisfaction with this remarkable progress in the economic and industrial development of the private sector, security and stability and the development of banking services for companies and businessmen.

This, the Chamber reports he added, reflects the extent of the desire to support the economy and trade movement between the two friendly countries through overcoming obstacles and difficulties facing businesses and investors, and the participation of the private sector in all technical, commercial, industrial and service fields, and the return of companies to the city of Benghazi.
