UNSMIL calls for virtual meeting of LPDF tomorrow

London, 9 December 2020:

UNSMIL announced today that the members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) have been invited to a virtual meeting tomorrow.

It stated that the meeting will follow up the discussion on the consensus reached in previous meetings on the mechanism for selecting Libya’s new executive authority based on the results of the vote on the proposed mechanisms.

It hoped the meeting will reach the most appropriate way and move forward in implementing the agreed road map.
