Tunis, 8 December 2015:
Inter militia clashes in Zawiya left two civilians, including a child, dead and many injured . . .[restrict]by gunshots as a result of clashes between militias.
The militia clash represents a fight between two families, the Awlad Ajeena and the Awlad Rammah.
It is not clear what exactly started the clash, but it is thought that it was yet another clash fight for control over territory.
Many of those who were injured were innocent bystanders and some who were attempting to help those caught up in the clashes.
The incident took place in the Sug Il Jumla (wholesale) commercial area of town where a number of outlets were badly damaged. [/restrict]
