Tunis, 18 October 2015:
The Islamic State (IS) claims to have beheaded another Christian in Libya. In a video released . . .[restrict]from IS in Cyrenaica, it says it executed a Sudanese man, possibly from South Sudan. It said it did so because, it claimed, Christians attacked Muslims.
In the video, IS also showed a Libyan soldier named as Faraj Al-Saiti, being shot. At the same site as the beheading. he was said said to have been a tank driver in Zawia.
The video, thought to have been filmed near Derna, has just been released but it is not known when the alleged executions took place. Nor can the authenticity be assured. The Christian, wearing an orange execution suit, is named as Mohamed Al-Ghaid. Mohamed is not a name used by Christians. [/restrict]
