Malta, 28 September 2015:
Libya-based British women are suspected of recruiting Western Muslim women to join IS in Libya . . .[restrict]through the social media, the Guardian reports today.
‘‘English-speaking female jihadis have been using social media to try to lure western Muslims to join Islamic State in Libya, a new front in the west’s ‘‘war on terror’’ 400 miles from Europe’s shores’’, it reported.
The report says that there are at least three women who have been living in Libya since the start of this summer. They are alleged to have reached out to their hundreds of followers to take the journey to Libya as the easiest way of joining the caliphate of IS. [/restrict]
