Tripoli, 3 February 2015:
A second attack has been reported on a building being used by the Tripoli Revolutionaries’ . . .[restrict]Brigade, this time near Fornaj on the road heading to Suq Al-Juma.
It follows yesterday’s car bomb explosion outside a brigade building in Hadba Al-Sharqia on the southern side of the city in which one guard was said to have been killed and two wounded.
Like that attack, the Islamic State have again claimed responsibility for today’s incident. Yesterday it supposedly indicated that the attack was in revenge for the brigade ending last week’s deadly assault on the Corinthia Hotel.
Such claims cannot be verified.
There are no further details at present.
Meanwhile in a separate incident, it is reported that unknown assailants threw an explosive device at the Sudanese embassy today from their passing vehicle. The device failed to explode and was later defused. [/restrict]
