The National Oil Corporation subsidiary, Sirte Oil Company (SOC), has issued a . . .[restrict]tender for the installation of specialist business software.
The tender, released just over one week ago, seeks bidders to implement an SAP ERP business operating system for the oil company at their headquarters in Brega.
The software package contains a number of integrated programmes which facilitate key business planning aspects including financials, human resource management, procurement and logistics. The system was developed by the German multinational software corporation SAP AG.
SOC is looking for proposals for the bid from companies with a minimum of five years’ experience implementing the system in North Africa and the Middle East, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
Bidding closes on 1 June.
