The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) has given its condolences to the family of engineer . . .[restrict]Mahfoud Musbah Grera, who died yesterday in Turkey after being shot in Libya earlier this month.
“Grera, was shot on the road between Tripoli and Zawia, died yesterday in Turkey as a result of his serious injuries,” GECOL spokesperson, Lutfi Ghoma told the Libya Herald.
The engineer, who worked in GECOL’s general information office, had been receiving treatment in a Turkish hospital after miraculously surviving the shooting earlier this month, he said.
“GECOL officially pays its respects to the victim’s family,” Ghoma said. The company utterly condemned such acts of violence against its workers, he said.
