Senior government officials and industry leaders are to meet with US representatives from the gas power . . .[restrict]industry in Washington at the end of the month.
Delegates will be given an overview of modern power generation technology and meet with US manufacturers of the natural gas-fired power equipment, as well as American utility companies.
Representatives from the Ministry of Electricity, the National Oil Corporation (NOC), the General Electric Company of Libya (GECOL) and the Privatisation and Investment Board are to attend the eight-day event, hosted by the US Trade and Development Agency.
US firms providing power plant automation systems, as well as engineering firms and US government experts will also meet the Libyan delegates. [/restrict]
