Tripoli, 25 September 2013:

Tripoli’s Mahari Radisson Blu Hotel has ‘adopted’ a small public garden almost opposite the hotel and is inviting staff and other volunteers to take part in a day of maintenance and planting.

The activity is part of the hotel chain’s Responsible Business programme.

“We will maintain, clean, paint and plant a small area in front of the hotel,” said coordinator for the Responsible Business programme Suzane Mohamad

The programme, she said, would help staff learn how to be socially, ethically and environmentally responsible. She added that the activity would also encourage participants to find out more about their local environment and community.
