Libyan footballers prepare for crucial Cameroon game

Tripoli, 23 August 2013:

The Libyan national football team is now in a Tunisian preparation camp  ahead of its critical . . .[restrict]World Cup qualifier clash with Cameroon,  in two weeks’ time on 8 September, which if Libya does not win, will put it out of the cup.

During this camp the Libyan team will play friendly exhibitions against Botswana Ghana and Benin

Victory in the Cameroon match, which kicks off at 4:30 pm Tripoli time, is essential if Libya is to continue its World Cup campaign. Cameroon leads the group with ten points, after the FIFA awarded them the points from their match with Togo, after it emerged that Togo had fielded a suspended player. Libya is second with nine points..
