Tripoli, 15 July 2013:
A new medical laboratory, which will specialilse in infectious diseases, has opened in the Jebel Nafusa town of Nalut.
The new Central Medical Laboratory will also analyse medical samples and raise awareness about health issues, according to Libyan news agency LANA.
The opening ceremony for the new facility was attended by senior members of the Nalut local council, including the Director of Health Services in the region. Managers of the area’s health centres were also present. [/restrict]
