The Ras Jedir border crossing between Libya and Tunisia is once again open after talks between the authorities . . .[restrict]on both sides. Traffic is now flowing in both directions.
The meeting today, Sunday, held at the Ras Jedir Border Directorate, was attended by the Libyan Consul-General in Sfax, senior Libyan border officials, civic leaders and elders and from Tunisia, the mayor of Medenine, a representative of the Nahda party, border officials and civic groups. The Libyan news agency LANA reported that the talks had been organised by human rights activists. [/restrict]
