An Iraqi professor working in Derna was kidnapped when his taxi was stopped by another vehicle.
Hamid . . .[restrict]Khalf, who teaches at the Derna Higher Institute of Work Studies was grabbed as he was being driven to work this morning from his home in Shara Al-Bahar. The vehicle that was used to intercept his taxi was described as a “Chevrolet taxi”. He has been living in Libya since 1998 and previously taught at Omar Mukhtar University in Beida. According to social media, in August he was assaulted and robbed of his car and valuables.
