A delegation from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Flydubai was received by Saleh Jibril Al-Amrouni, Director General of Benghazi’s Benina International Airport yesterday.
Benina Airport said this is part of efforts to enhance air transport between Libya and the United Arab Emirates.
The delegation inspected the airport’s operational and security standards and procedures, toured all operational areas.
Benina airport reported that the delegation commended the airport’s administration for its commitment to implementing the highest safety and security standards. They also expressed their admiration for the airport’s development and modernization.
Benina airport said this visit represents an important step towards strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of air transport and establishing a direct flight route between Benghazi and the United Arab Emirates.
