An official ‘‘Notice to Airmen’’, known as a ‘‘NOTAM’’ in the aviation industry, has been issued regarding the closure of Benina International Airport to all flights nightly and daily from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM UTC (1:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
This closure will be from 19 August to 4 September 2026.
The NOTAM said the closure is due to ongoing maintenance work on the main runway (15R/33L)
