Environment forum to be held in Tripoli

Tripoli, 20 June 2013:

A forum on the environment and sustainable development is to be held next week. The Environement . . .[restrict]Sector Cooperation Forum, to take place on 24 June at Tripoli’s Mahari Radisson Blu hotel and sponsored by the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), will highlight commercial developments in the environmental sector.

The forum will include representatiuves from seven Korean companies, 18 Libyan organisations, including the HIB (Housing and Infrastructure Board), the General Desalination Company of Libya and the Ministry of Water Resources.

A number of topics will be discussed during the forum, including water resources and sanitation, the aim being to share environmental management technologies and experiences, in addition to exchanging views and ideas.
