According to the Audit Bureau’s Annual Report for 2024 published yesterday, the Central Bank of Libya’s reserves reached 409 billion dinars, equivalent to 83 billion US dollars, as of December 31, 2024. This represents an increase of 3 billion US dollars, or 4%, compared to the fiscal year 2023.
While assets in foreign currencies and gold to cover issued and restricted currency increased by 12% as of December 31, 2024, compared to December 31, 2023.
