Turkish imports into Libya through official transfers led in 2024 at US$ 2.3 billion

According to the latest data for 2024 released by the Central Bank of Libya, goods and services of Turkish origin topped the list of the most important countries of origin from which official documentary credit requests and remittances for import were executed during the year 2024.

According to the data the value of Turkish goods and services exceeded US$ 2.3 billion, followed by Egypt with a value of US$ 1.8 billion, then China with a value of US$ 1.2 billion.
